The artist behind BLK.
His relationship with music began with classical violin before finding its true expression in electronic sound. Formerly known as Tino V, he developed his identity within Malta’s underground scene through long-standing residencies and shared line-ups with internationally recognised artists including Sasha, Hernán Cattáneo, Tale of Us, Mind Against, Guy Mantzur, Lehar, Kasango, Pachanga Boys, Job Jobse, Ten Walls, Blond:ish, Tube & Berger, Thugfucker, DJ Ruby and THE ELEMENT.
After stepping away from the booth, TINO returned in 2026 with a renewed purpose: not simply to play music, but to create complete emotional journeys. His sound moves through progressive house and melodic techno, shaped by tension, release, human behaviour and connection. Combining his musical experience with his background in psychology, he created BLK Immersive—a multi-sensory world where music, visuals, movement, live voice, scent, touch and taste become one evolving story.

Residency
Time behind the decks became an education in people. Set by set, TINO learned how to read energy and build an emotional progression rather than simply play tracks.

The pause
TINO stepped back from music to focus on career, family and human behaviour. The distance changed the artist—and deepened the ideas that would later shape his return.
